how to check the number of war medals.. current profile page does not display that :(

go to your clan page, click on clan members & find yourself to see how many war medals you have.
Also on your profile page, under "achievements" see what number you have as a skirmisher. I think this is how many war medals you have (on mine it is the same number as the number of war medals I have).
Hope this helps :)

i also just noticed that if you go to your hanger & click the "upgrade ship" button, there's a small box at the top of the page with the heading "your resources" which includes how many war medals you have.

Frankly I think this is not very cool at all.
Offering up ships you can only have if your in a clan. Not everyone wants to be in a clan. So why don't you offer some new fancy kick butt ships for people NOT IN a clan. Give clannies a reason to think maybe they should leave their clan. Since your setting the precedent that we have to think hmm maybe I should join a clan. Clan politics can suck in all games and make games no fun. Forcing clans and war medals down our throats isn't the right way to keep the game balanced.

Clan wars and medals aren't being forced down anyone's throats. One can choose not to participate, though I don't know why one wouldn't, reviewers and game critics continually assess that clan wars is the best part of the game! Making ships that would take people out of clans would be detrimental to the longevity of the game.

I think the new level 70 ship is pretty cool.
I think it is good to promote to be in a clan. It supports the longevity of the gam like Dave said.

For the ones not traveled to aeros the specs of the new ship:

- 70 20,000 200 6,750 6
Level 1 73 20,750 205 7,000 6
Level 2 76 21,500 210 7,250 6
Level 3 79 22,250 220 7,550 6
Level 4 82 23,000 230 7,850 6
Level 5 85 23,750 245 8,150 6
Level 6 88 24,500 260 8,300 7
Level 7 91 25,250 280 8,700 7
Level 8 94 26,000 300 9,100 8
Level 9 97 27,000 325 9,550 8
Level 10 100 28,000 350 10,000 8

bad idea,
no clan = no ship
needs a major rethink

Um sorry Dave it is forcing CLANS down our throats if we want to be competitive and able to defend ourselves.

Don't want to be in a Clan, don't get new better ship.

Be in a Clan, get new better ship.

But I'm not unreasonable.
Just make War Medal ships unable to attack anyone except people in Clans and it can stay as is.

No sweat off my brow then.
That's a fair compromise.

If clans are the HOT thing then they should only be allowed to attack other clan members.

I have to agree with midnight here

Midnight, if you hate clans but want the ship so much then join it, get the medals then quit. Or start your own with other grumpy people who like to complain about new things that only benefit people :) It's not like they made your existing ship clan only.
